Jambo Days 8-9: These past two days have been extremely full ones. On Saturday the main focus of the day was our final arena show. And what a show! A message from the President, a presentation from Eagle Scout Mike Rowe (of "Dirty Jobs" fame), and performances by Honor Society and Switchfoot. The real highlight of the evening was seeing 40,000 scouts light candles, filling the arena with a flickering glow, while they rededicated themselves to scouting's ideals when they all recited the Scout Oath. Today started with worship opportunities for all scouts, and closed with finishing off merit badges, and seeing as many of the activities as possible before our departure on Wednesday.
